OBLIQUE SHOE
Definition: An oblique shoe
refers to the shape of a shoe that will accommodate a wide forefoot,
a foot shaped as an oblique shoe is, or a square forefoot.
This shape shoe is commonly seen in Europe but is easily found in the
US market except by those who deal in therapeutic shoes. The Finn Comfort brand is an example of a such a shoe that is known for being fashionable and comfortable but is not "therapeutic" by design.
Benefits: Many people have
feet that fit nicely into these kinds of shoes. Pedorthists offer a
special service by watching for the foot type and making these shoes
available.
